Organizational Changes Lead to Operational Improvement
CMI leadership efforts to ramp up production are delivering results. Our second shift is growing in all departments and should be fully staffed by the end of the year to handle the higher volume of parts anticipated in 2024.
The new parts on order are similar to those we have made in the past, which should help decrease lead times to customers and increase our overall throughput in manufacturing. Because these new parts are familiar to us, we will see faster development times as they move through the new product introduction process.
Organizational changes, including a revised 2nd shift work schedule and an overlapping shift change, will help us achieve our goals to deliver parts on time and with the highest quality for our customers.
