We are looking for an experienced CNC VTL Lathe Operator who can run a variety of CNC VTL machines and help to enhance the productivity of our organization. The successful candidate will perform work quality checks and monitor machine output each hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories to be used on projects.
  • Ensure that every machine procedure is done in accordance with the strict guidelines of the company.
  • Inspect the work area and machines that were used during the day prior to leaving at the end of each shift.
  • Follow all company safety protocol.
  • Maintain tooling in good working order and perform required tooling maintenance.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery per procedures.

JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a part time Engineering Intern who wants to gain experience and learn by performing a variety of design and develop activities in a machine shop environment and help to enhance the productivity of our organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop process documentation to manufacture parts to customer supplied drawings and technical data.
  • Process engineering change documentation including significant 3D modeling of parts.

JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for an Engineering Manager. JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced Final Inspector who can inspect Aerospace quality parts per customer blueprints and specifications in a machine shop environment and help to enhance the productivity of our organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Operate a CMM to perform inspection and have a knowledge of CMM inspection and applications.
  • Performs complex dimensional layout inspection to operation sheet/blueprint.
  • Generates and completes Inspection Method Sheets.
  • Understands and complies with Standard Process Instructions.
  • Performs 1st piece, In-process & Final Inspection of machined and sheet metal parts.
  • Documents inspection results by completing reports and inputting data into quality database.
  • Verification that all production router operations are signed and completed.
  • Verification of part marking requirements.

Repair station experience is a plus. The candidate must be proficient in reading operation sheets, blueprints and specifications. A demonstrated proficiency with geometric tolerancing is required. JOB SUMMARY
Columbia Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a full time first shift Gage Calibration Technician. The person will be mechanically inclined, have a continuous improvement mindset, and ideally have experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment. To become successful and provide immediate impact, you will need to quickly learn, be comfortable working with others and be comfortable using calibration tools.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Establish and maintain records and files for inspection and calibration of tools, instruments, gages, equipment and standards.
  • Perform inspection and calibration in accordance with documented procedures, industry requirements and/or manufacturer’s instructions within established calibration intervals.
  • Perform gage setup for specific operations.
  • Maintain records (paper and electronic) of inspection and calibration results.
  • Perform inspection on newly purchased gages, fixtures, production equipment and tooling.
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs on inspection instruments, gages and equipment, as required.
  • Enter and maintain computer files on gage inventory and recall periods.
  • Control and issue of shelf-life and special process consumable materials.
  • Generate suggestions for improving work; develop innovative approaches and ideas.
  • Support other Quality Department functions like Inspection and Quality Engineering as needed.
