Organizational Changes Lead to Operational Improvement
CMI leadership efforts to ramp up production are delivering results. Our second shift is growing in all departments and should be fully staffed by the end of the year to handle the higher volume of parts anticipated in 2024.
The new parts on order are similar to those we have made in the past, which should help decrease lead times to customers and increase our overall throughput in manufacturing. Because these new parts are familiar to us, we will see faster development times as they move through the new product introduction process.
Organizational changes, including a revised 2nd shift work schedule and an overlapping shift change, will help us achieve our goals to deliver parts on time and with the highest quality for our customers.
Please join us in congratulating the following employees on recent promotions:
- Michelle Berwick, Manufacturing Manager
- Carlos Mendez, 2nd Shift Supervisor
- Dave Chojnowski, CNC Mill Lead
- Hector Hernandez Jr., Deburr Lead
Additionally, Chris Vallera, Director of Business Development, has taken on additional responsibility for purchasing and outside vendor coordination.
We are confident these new positions will help us on our path to continued growth.
Onward and upward!
