CMI Automates Welding Capabilities with New Equipment
In preparation for unprecedented growth, we have invested in upgrading our welding capabilities and capacity by acquiring and installing a new Jetline® automated welding system. This new capability increases efficiency and throughput while effectively utilizing resources. The welding system has a 360-degree reach of nine feet radially and can rise to 10 feet high. It can be programmed to weld multiple components in series, reducing transition and setup times.
CMI Expands Sheet Metal Forming Capabilities
CMI continues to grow with the addition of a 600-ton Hydraulic Press. The new equipment is the latest acquisition in the company’s ongoing commitment to strategic, proactive capital investments. The 100-square foot forming envelope can apply extreme force to create complex sheet metal shapes needed to fulfill several new long-term contracts requiring large forming capabilities.
