MRO Mill Operator

JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced Mill Operator who can run a variety of manual and CNC machines and help to enhance the productivity of our turbine engine overhaul business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories to be used on projects.
  • Ensure that every machine procedure is done in accordance with the strict guidelines of the company.
  • Follow all company safety protocol.
  • Maintain tooling in good working order and perform required tooling maintenance.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery per procedures.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: The qualified candidate must:

  • Understand the basics of shop tools and techniques including working with gauges, calipers and other inspection equipment.
  • Be able to read blueprints and have good basic math skills,
  • Have an understanding of the basics of Aerospace Overhaul (preferred not required)
  • Be articulate and punctual.
  • Motivated and willing to learn
  • Have good communication skills
  • Pass FAA mandated drug screening and adhere to the Company’s quality and safety standards.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma/GED required. (Associate degree preferred). A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience using manual or CNC milling machinery.
