The growing world-class aerospace supplier announces strategic appointments to continue expanding the business and enhancing its commitment to quality improvement and customer satisfaction.

COLUMBIA, CT,  June 24, 2021 – Columbia Manufacturing, Inc. (CMI) welcomes two new members to its leadership team with the promotion of John Noll to Quality Director and Michael Albert to the newly created position of Director of Operations. The announcement is the latest evidence of the Company’s commitment to strategic investments that support continued growth.

John Noll has been promoted to Quality Director, replacing Michael Peterson, who will remain with CMI in the role of Senior Quality Engineer. Mr. Noll joined CMI as Senior Quality Engineer in January of 2021 and has over 40 years of experience in aerospace quality, working with complex machined products, sheet metal, weldments, special processes, and auditing. He has held positions of increasing responsibility throughout his career, gaining extensive experience with the GE and Pratt & Whitney Supplier Auditing and Quality Management Systems.

Michael Albert joins the CMI leadership team in the newly created position of Director of Operations. In his role, Mr. Albert is responsible for manufacturing, production control, and engineering.  He brings over 35 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing with a track record of driving growth using a LEAN manufacturing approach. Mr. Albert spent most of his career at the Whitcraft Group where he had success driving extensive gains in efficiency and profitability, implementing “one-piece” flow lines, and using data to inform decisions and implement change.
