COLUMBIA, CT — June 28, 2023… Columbia Manufacturing, Inc., (CMI), a leading supplier of precision metal components for domestic and international turbine engines, announced the appointment of Peter Madsen to the position of Director of Quality Assurance.
Peter joins the senior leadership team and brings over 35 years of leadership experience in Quality Assurance, New Product Development, Program Management, and Design Engineering. His experience leading cross-functional teams in organizations has resulted in significant operational excellence improvements throughout his career.

As the Company grows and continues to be awarded new contracts. Peter’s experience will enable him to lead the teams through the successful launch of new products into manufacturing, strengthen and streamline the Quality function, and enhance the Company’s ability to deliver on the demands of its customers in a timely and cost-effective manner. Peter holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an MBA. His certifications include a Lean Value Based Six Sigma Black Belt and Project Management Professional.
